Art work or selfie on social media -which is now more desirable?

People will say art work is desirable of course, it’s aesthetic and its worth appreciative.
Now a days people have somewhere forgotten to appreciate a good work but what they are looking for are  selfies where they can comment on or some yellow pages to stick to .
Yes, this is the real in the world of social media !
We all like to say we love reading good articles ,viewing good pictures but are we not saying just for Showcasing our status to society?probably yes for me.Actually our eyes crave not for our art work but for the self exhibition and I am not exception to it.Good art work is now of a less value than that of a pouted selfie..there are only 20 likes for a good art work but 200 likes for a selfie.Aint that a good self exhibition ? Media is diverse and people are not able to understand the real uses.Social media is an infotainment platform and for me it should be a well balance of information and entertainment.
So appreciate good art work more ans suggest ,criticize because criticism may give rise to perfections.But also dont forget to like the selfies !
